谢谢小影

The 2nd half of the year has started. Another 6 months to go before a new year starts.

Last month (June), I received two registered parcels (poslaju) from two very nice ladies (one each) - Hayley and 小影 (Sheta). I have written about Hayley's parcel here so now I will write about Sheta's parcel.

Thank you Sheta for the souvenirs from Korea. As my neighbour was not available to house sit for me to receive this parcel and I have no transport to go to the post office to pick it up, I called the post office and told them about my predicament. They told me that I could request for it to be delivered to another address with someone there to receive it and so I did. My mother-in-law is kind enough to receive the parcel on my behalf.

The parcel with "Ubah Hala (change direction in the Malay Language)" written on it and the date to deliver it (27/6).

I unwrapped the parcel to reveal a very pretty box.

I opened the box to discover a sweet note from 小影, thank you Sheta. How did you manage to put the chopsticks into the box? I couldn't do it.

I like this very much - cute and useful - a nail clipper from Korea!

A whole box of goodies for me to share with my family. Thank you again 小影 but no more "poslaju" or courier parcels, ok? It is better for us to meet up for a meal since both of us are in the Klang valley. It would be great to meet up with you.

P/S I have also requested Wenn and other online friends not to send me any more registered mail (poslaju or courier) due to my inability to receive them. So sorry but no more parcels, ya? Thank you! :)

    1. I think it is fine not to buy gifts as now everyone seems to be having too many material things now. Just having your presence and company back in msia to spend time with your family is previous enough.

  6. Korean cosmetics products are cheap compared to those in m'sia.

  8. How lovely that so many people are generously sending these things to you, but I can see the problem of having to collect them.
