While he was having his meeting, I walked to the nearby Leeds Castle with two other ladies who also accompanied their partners to this meeting. We visited the lovely gardens, the maze, the grotto and had scones and cream for tea. Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me at that time so I did not get to take any photos of the lovely place.
After the meeting, my spouse and I visited Canterbury and Dover before returning to Newbury.

Wow you've actually been to Europe quite a bit (more than yours truly who has never been :P)... Do you still go?
ReplyDeleteHi Aileen, No, I have not been to Europe ever since we moved back here from UK at the end of 2003.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! Sooooo jealous. Someday I'll make it to Europe.
ReplyDeleteJamie, I'm sure you'll get to visit Europe one day. :)
ReplyDeleteOh... how long were you in the UK? My hub wanted me to visit but I have this impression it's cold n wet with no sun ... You come to HK occasionally too, right, did you live in Northasia for a time too?
ReplyDeleteI was there for 4 years. UK is really hot and dry in summer, hotter than M'sia. No, I have not lived in Northasia before. Just visits. :)
