Year of the hair

1993 was the year when my all one-length hair was at its longest. I kept it at almost-waist length for a year only as taking care of it was time consuming.

I don't even remember how long it took my hair to grow to that length. Now that I have decided to keep my hair short forever, these photos are all that remains of my longest hair days.

Update: My spouse just read this entry and said that my long hair looks like those ghosts in traditional chinese ghost movies, hahaha!

  6. Hi M, yes, I like short hair better too! :)

Elizebeth, thanks! my spouse would beg to differ about the 淑女 part, hehehe. ;)

Redbabe, my spouse asked, what does ghostlier mean, haha. I also don't know how I manage it at that time, cannot remember, so many years ago. Now, shoulder-length hair also I cannot manage. :(

  7. What lovely hair you had! :) Beg to differ from your other half- ghosts have very messy hair (or at least thats how they are portrayed in the chinese/korean horror movies). Lack of conditioning. :P
I personally think it takes courage to try out different hairstyles, and as long as you carry it off with confidence- you will look good. I like your photos when you were in the UK with shoulder length hair. Very sassy!
I'm sticking to my "Dallas" curls for now. Until I get sick of it and then try something new.

is your "Dallas" curls easy to maintain?

  9. Heheh, I think because I am a bit of a vainpot so I don't mind maintaining the curls. If you go to my blog, scroll to the right for "styling your curls 101", thats how I usually take care of my curls. Not a daily occurence, once every 3 or 4 days.

  13. Well, short hair no need to manage, just wash and leave it to dry by itself, atleast that's what I did, hahaha....

  14. For short hair, I do towel dry it but I don't comb it, hehe...
