My apple ..

.. is my stainless steel tiffin carrier as shown in the photo below. I find the individual portion of meals served by restaurants to be too much for my one meal so when the food is served, I will keep half of it in my apple to be eaten later at home. By doing this, I prevent any wastage of food whenever I eat out and can't finish my food.

    1. Thanks! I've seen it being sold in Mr. DIY shop but I asked my sister to buy this for me at her local market. Cost only around RM25. Very affordable.

  5. I need to find one of these. I am not a big eater, so when we go to restaurants, there is always leftovers.

    1. Wow, good idea. How do you do it? Just put the egg inside and then pour hot boiling water over it and then cover and wait for 3 minutes?

  7. i have one at home too, very nice.. but i find it not suitable for hot stuffs, because without a proper handle and with the just-fit compartment, it's quite difficult since the steel gets hot itself too.. ouch when i touch it~~

    1. Thanks for the caution about hot food. I did not put any really hot food in it yet so with your caution, I won't use this for really hot food. I saw a similar steel container with a plastic handle. Guess that one can handle really hot food.

    1. It is very useful isn't it? I have seen those with plastic handle covers like you mentioned - orange ones and green ones.
