Oct 2001

Time to reminisce - 6 October 2001 (Saturday), a day trip to London. First, we went to the branch of "Royal China" restaurant at Canary Wharf to eat dim sum. Then we just wandered around London sight seeing before eating the much-talked-about lobster noodles at Mandarin Kitchen (Queensway) for dinner. Lastly it was to London Paddington to catch a train back to Thatcham (the journey takes around 45 mins).

Canary Wharf Tube Station

London Eye and the Great Clock of Westminster. I have yet to take a flight on the London Eye.

The delicious lobster noodles at Mandarin Kitchen.

"ME N MY MILLION DOLLAR", yes, it does live up to its reputation. We went to London a few times before we left just to eat this noodle again.

  8. Canary Wharf station hasn't changed at all! There is actually a very cheap and cheerful dim sum restaurant called the Floating Lotus. I have been there several times and enjoyed it very much.
The lobster looks great- will definitely have to try it out one of these days. :)

  11. Wah Mun! You think I super rich meh? Just studying this master took all my savings already. Haha! I have not much interest in Europe though. No sea no beach no sunshine...hehe

  12. No need to be rich Jennifer. Air Asia now flys to London. Just need to catch their deals. The seaside around Europe is cold, dark, mystical and romantic. Am I tempting you yet? ;)
