Sugar

The mini desserts looked so delicious that I succumbed to temptation and took one of each. Needless to say, they were sweet so I did not like them that much. Luckily I had two other persons sharing the food with me. Between the three of us, we managed to finish the whole lot and did not waste a morsel.

Lesson learned: never judge a dessert by its looks.

A pink lady

As pink is one of my favourite colours after red, I couldn't resist taking a photo of this car when I saw it. Even the rims are pink. The colour is so striking. The car really stood out among the other cars in the car park. I did not stay to find out who the driver is. Would you paint your car pink? Perhaps pink deters car thieves.

Reusing bottles

Lately I need to protect my toothbrush from house lizards / house geckos. I did not want to buy a toothbrush holder with a cover so I looked around my house to find materials that I could use to make one. In the end, I made one using two PET bottles and the lid of a small container.

I started off with two PET bottles (only one bottle is shown in the photo below), a small container and a scissors.

Cut each bottle into 2 parts. I only need the bottom part. Then cut a hole in the middle of the lid of the small container.

Result: a toothbrush holder with a cover. The lid of the small container holds the toothbrush in place inside the bottom part of the 1st bottle. The bottom part of the 2nd bottle acts as the cover.

2 & 2

I went to the following fiesta and saw 4 hot air balloons. The day was sunny and hot but it was cool and windy under the shady trees, just right for a nice walk. A good long healthy walk. Ended the day feeling tired but happy.

This is the only soft toy that I have ever owned. When I was a child, I do have toys but not soft toys. I just don't fancy them. Then one day after a movie with my boyfriend (now husband), I saw this bear and felt that it looked like him so he bought it for me. And that was 20 years ago. This bear is still with me now because  I couldn't bear to throw it away. I am such a sentimental fool person.

Never again

Today I found out that I don't like nor want to eat fried food anymore. I used to love eating fish and chip but when I embark on a healthy eating journey recently, I stop eating fried food.

During lunch today, I suddenly decided to eat fish and chip in a cafe at a medical center where I was a visitor from 6.30am to 3.30pm and discovered that I no longer like to eat them. So no more fried food for me. Back to munching apples and greens.
