Taking a breather

Today is the 5th day of CNY. I have not switched on my netbook for the last 5 days because I was busy shuttling between my in-laws' and my mother's place which are located 3km apart. I was barely at home. When I was at my mother's place, I can't help popping her home made cookies into my mouth as they were made with less sugar and less butter so they are just right for me. Got to remember to take care of my health and not overeat. Ten more days of eating and merry making to go before CNY is officially over and then it's back to the daily grind.

  2. Mun - Hi... Dropping by at your blog for the first time.
    Gong Xi Fa Chai!

Eh. It's great that your mom still does home-made CNY cookies. I think it is the "baking together" that is the fun thing about CNY lor. The store-bought ones though convenient just isn't the same.

When you mentioned about the Northern Lights.. I thought you were based in Helsinki.. I was like "hey. I got friend there liow!" ... Aiya...

  3. Elizebeth, thanks! next time when you visit KL, I treat you to makan-makan, ok?

Hi NomadicMom, welcome, welcome! Gong Xi Fa Cai! How I wish I am based in Helsinki although I probably will freeze to death. If you are allowed to hire maids from M'sia, I'll go work for you, hehehe...but I'm not good at housework or cooking :(
